Kootenay Plains Ecological Reserve. A personal favorite, cant wait to get back here this summer and continue exploring. At the edge of the the National Parks boundary 15km to Banff park Gate, outdoor enthusiasts adore the Kootenay Plains for the backcountry beauty and easy access off the David Thompson Highway.
