BH's Bus Station is a very hard place. Strange people, street's living, dubious stablishments around there a lot... It's not a place to you manipulate your cell phone, for exemple. If you want to see a favela, you need meet someone who's living there to go with security... Be careful with your closes... here the people look there, for your security too.
