About Beatriz
I am a person that likes to explore new places, specially if there is culture and nature together. And I found in Rio de Janeiro the perfect city where I can find these things at the same time! I am from São Paulo, where I lived my first 21 years. Then I moved to Europe and lived there for 7 years, in places such as Germany, Italy, England. However, after I came back to Brazil, I got a job in Rio de Janeiro, where I came back in 1996. From this day on, I simply felt in love with this city and I'm living here since then. Meanwhile I got married and I have a small child. We enjoy riding bicicle, going to parks, to the beach, listen to music and going to museums. I have a degree in Journalism, worked in the international audiovisual area for 20 years, buying and selling TV programs for TV channels such as TV Cultura, Globosat, Canal Futura. At the moment, I work as a Tour Guide in Rio and cities nearby, such as Petrópolis and Buzios. I would really appreciate to show you wonderful places here in Rio!
About Ipanema Beach
One of the best things in Rio is to walk by the beach of Ipanema and Leblon in the afternoon, to sip a coconut water and relax watching the sunset. The cariocas appreciate such moments and celebrate the sun by clapping when it comes down behind the mountains.
