"I don't think I can put into words the experience I've had with Fernando as my host. As a matter of fact, I don't consider him a host anymore. He's family to me. He took me onto his home, gave me my own room with my own restroom. Gave me keys to his home where his family treated me like one of their own. From breakfast in the mornings to dinner at night. He never hesitated to ask me if I needed anything or to change his plans for my best interest. Not only did he give me advice and options throughout his city, he showed me personally. I literally got to live the life of a local and experience what it's like to be a Paulistano! Haha I'm going to miss this pagafantas! We went out all the time, had a great deal of conversations and overall did exactly what couchsurfing was intended for. But additionally, we got more than just exchange of culture. We forged a bond that lasts a lifetime. I only hope that somebody will show him even an ounce of the generosity he showed me. "Nothing would be possible without him ,i´m Tunisian and i live in Germany i went to Sao Paulo to work on a sozial project , during my 6-week-staying in Sao Paulo i would say my experience only began when i met Fernando , i have missed a lot in the first two weeks with my first old blind couple Hosts ( they were so nice but i couldn't take much from them) . Such a great personality , always bringing up the good spirit and coming up with the best plans ever .To chill or To Party , to just have a drink with friends or to go buy souvenir (for cheaaaaaap) or even to Hike or to skydive or to jump out of the bridge ( yeah if you wanna go crazy you will be supported too haha ) .. He´s always been our guy ! And he always just knew the right place for the right occasion and the right mood. Btw , this guy has no friends AT ALL , but he has the biggest Family ever . I felt like a brazilian. I met lot of people during 4 months in Brazil but nobody like him ! A music lover, everytime happy ! I really liked his personality and his spirit ! He showed us lot of beautiful places that we can't found in a guide. I loved all our party to dance all night long, our Karaoke to revisit all the rock style or our chill time in the bars !
