About Tropical Botanical Garden
Across the Jerónimos Monastery is one of the most beautiful gardens of Lisbon. Created in the begining of the XX century, for the study of the botanical species originary from the former Portuguese colonies, in this garden there is a large number of tropical and subtropical species brought from Africa, Asia and South America. It is a calm place to visit in the heart of Belém touristic mess!
