Hi, I am Arnoldo

"Arnoldo was a pleasure to spend out day with in Mexico City during our long lay over, He met us at the airport, arranged a taxi to take us into the historic centre and paid for it, until I could find an atm to withdraw some cash. He really was a fine example of a local friend, friendly warm and open, wanting to give us the best experience he could in his city. As well as showing us the historical centre he told us about it, as well as shared some of his life, the politics in the city and country and spoke about his family, and asked us about our lives as well. To show how considerate he was, knowing we were just on a layover and likely hadn't thought about sunscreen, which we did need, he brought it with him. And yes we hadn't thought of sunscreen and would have had a burn without it. We had asked him to take us to a local restaurant for good food, and he took us to one of the ones he liked., and the food was very good, different than we had eaten before, which is exactly what we had hoped for. As we had flown in on a red eye flight, arriving at 07:00, about 2:30 we decided that it was time to head back to the airport, a little earlier than planned, but our bodies were saying no more exploring. Arnoldo made arrangements for a safe taxi to take us back to the airport. I would recommend Arnoldo as someone to spend an enjoyable day with, it really did feel like we were with a friend. If/When we go back to Mexico City I will definitely contact him again."
