Este servicio fue creado por Alice, una periodista Portugués-Brasileña, que después de 10 años de viajar, entendió que para captar el auténtico espíritu de una ciudad, tenemos que estar en contacto con las personas locales. Solamente mezclándonos con las personas locales, podemos conocer la gente de ciudad, su gastronomía, cultura y sus lugares secretos.

Durante sus viajes, Alice descubrió que cuando tenía un amigo local en algún destino su experiencia era más real y completa. La posibilidad de conocer y vivir la ciudad como un “local adoptivo” llegando a latir a su ritmo, es definitivamente una fantástica manera de ser un viajero.

Es justamente esa experiencia la que quiso compartir con los viajeros que tengan el mismo interés. Rent a Local Friend se crea cuando Alice Moura tras percibir la gran acogida de su idea, invita algunos amigos con la misma forma de pensar y vivir el espiritu local a unirse al proyecto.

Los amigos locales son profesionales autónomos: periodistas, diseñadores, fotógrafos, profesores … que sobretodo aman a su ciudad y adoran compartirla con visitantes de todo el mundo.
